A change from the daily cataloging of black racial violence against whites. Here is a collection of eclectic music videos from You Tube: I try to do this on the last day of every month to celebrate another month gone by without the blog being deleted for being so "politically incorrect"
I used to like the music of Jackson Brown in my Kumbaya days when I returned from my all expense paid tour of the Big Red Disneyland to CONUS in 1970.To fit in on campus and to get laid it was necessary to be "hip". And the music was part of the package.
Jackson Brown unfortunately became "Jackson Red" when he gave concerts to raise money for The Christics to fund a merit less lawsuit against General Singlaub, who was fighting against the expansion of the Soviet Empire into Central America. I guess I took it personal because I was in San Salvador right after the Zona Rosa Massacre in 1985 where communist terrorists, supported by the Christiics, murdered 6 Americans.
But for what it is worth: Kumbaya yall!:

The White Swan;Julie Fowlis
Great photographs of WW I and of Scotland
"Song composed by Dòmhnall Ruadh Chorùna (Donald MacDonald of Coruna), a Scottish-Gaelic poet from North Uist, whilst fighting in the battle of the Somme, in the trenches of the Great War, for his love, Mhagaidh Nic Leòid (Maggie MacLeod). As performed by Julie Fowlis from the album Dual, that is very much recommended to lovers of Gaelic song and/or culture."

Angel Band, Stanley Brothers:
A classic about ones last days on Earth
"My latest sun is sinking fast, my race is nearly run.
My strongest trials now are past, my triumph has begun
O come Angel Band, come & around me stand
O bear me away on your snow white wings to my immortal home
O bear me away on your snow white wings to my immortal home"

The Parting Glass, Liam Clancy
A great reflective Irish song:
Oh all the money that e'er I had
I spent it in good company
And all the harm that e'er I've done
alas, it was to none but me
For all I've done for want of wit
to memory now I can't recall
So fill to me the parting glass
good night and joy be with you all
Oh all the comrades that e'er I've had
they are sorry for my going away
And all the sweethearts that e'er I've had
they would wish me one more day to stay
But since it falls unto my lot t
that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call
good night and joy be with you all
